Job Summary:

Foodbuy is the foodservice industry’s leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Currently we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Data Acquisition Analyst.  

This position will be based in our Alpharetta, GA or Charlotte, NC office, but full-time remote candidates will be considered with the exception of CO.

The Data Acquisition Analyst is responsible for working directly with Distributors to obtain complete and timely transaction level reporting. This process results in the successful capture and processing of Foodbuy customers' purchase transactions, and the generation of manufacturer invoices, customer volume allowances and price audits ensuring maximum revenue and savings for those customers.  

Responsibilities: 
•    Ensure complete and accurate collection/processing of transaction - level reporting from hundreds of distributor locations representing over $25 billion in annual spend across the U.S. and Canada
•    Analyze distributor data to identify gaps in reporting and potential revenue opportunities
•    Display sense of urgency when dealing with critical and time sensitive EDI failures
•    EDI relationship owner between Distributor and Foodbuy regarding onboarding and collection of all Customer DCN’s
•    Facilitate ongoing weekly phone calls with priority distribution partners
•    Present analysis and issues to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
•    Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests, and concerns
•    Generate and maintain reports used for analysis and management of daily workload
•    Continuously seek to improve processes by applying innovative and strategic thinking and by monitoring and evaluating industry best practices 
•    Execute against annually provided SMART KPI’s
•    Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive operational excellence and support Compass/Foodbuy initiatives (eVIA, Supply Chain, Compass hierarchy, etc)
•    Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out professionally/ethically and with the highest integrity

Qualifications:

•    Completion of Bachelor’s degree is preferred 
•    Financial or trend analysis experience
•    High proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel and Outlook
•    Experience with VBA, SQL, logic coding, PowerBI a plus
•    Customer/Stakeholder focused with excellent phone etiquette
•    Organized and Detail-oriented
•    Analytical minded with the capability to problem solve
•    Flexible/Adapts well to change
•    Strong verbal and written communications skills
•    High level of Integrity and Ethics
•    Aptitude for understanding complex processes and working with large numerical datasets

•    Occasional travel required (between Charlotte and Atlanta Corporate Offices)
