The Procedural Nurse Supervisor coordinates activities in procedural area(s), collaborates with department Director to create, implement and execute plans to address opportunities for improvement and assist in the development and implementation of new programs, department specific policies and procedures and strategic planning to meet department objectives. The Procedural Nurse Supervisor also coordinates clinical/procedural functions to enhance workflow and daily operations, assists team members in the provision of patient care and/or administers direct patient care when professional nursing skills and/or judgment is required. In addition, the Procedural Nurse Supervisor assists with successful patient complaint investigation and initiates immediate service recovery, coordinates patient care, establishes priorities, delegates clinical activities according to patient need and reviews results of patient satisfaction feedback.
The ideal candidate for the Procedural Nurse Supervisor role will have previous experience working is an OR, Day Surgery/PACU, or Endo department, advanced certification in related area of specialty, excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully lead a team.
