Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Brightstar UK Demand Planning Team, carrying out the Inventory Planning and Procurement functions for the device protection programme utilised by one of our major customers.

This role is highly critical to the success and profitability of the programme, the primary focus will be managing the CPFR process which primarily includes the creation of demand forecasts by gathering data from a range of sources, analysing historical trends and predicting future trends.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, an eye for detail and be able to work in close collaboration with both internal and external customers. We're looking for someone who has the ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment and who is able to motivate and encourage their peers. Experience with ERP systems (preferably JDE, SAP and/or Great Plains) and supply and demand planning tools/systems (Excel, SAP, JDE, Logility) is also important.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are:

•Reports to the Senior Manager of Inventory Planning and Procurement, who is based in the UK
•Forecast demand using various tools/methods and execute purchasing strategies
•Build and maintain relationships with our existing vendors while simultaneously seeking out opportunities with new vendors who can help improve the programme
•Work closely with our Client Operations and Customer Care teams to ensure that any handset issues are dealt with promptly and expeditiously to ensure the maximum customer satisfaction commensurate with lowest cost of handsets
•Create and continuously improve reporting for senior management that clearly shows the results of the program against SLAs and budgets
•Suggest additions to our systems and tools that will enhance both our profitability and our relationships with our clients

Requirements/Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant business field
Masters Degree/MBA would be an advantage
Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant consulting or industry position
Minimum 5 years experience in supply and demand planning
Wireless or Insurance industry experience would also be an advantage
