KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate, Application Risk Assessment & Dependency to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in the city listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor activities in the Change Management, Configuration Management and Release Management processes to detect, analyze, document, track and communicate changes in relationships between applications that could affect recovery plans in the event of a disaster declaration
  • Work with the IT Risk team to identify, track, communicate and resolve application-related resiliency and Disaster Recovery risks
  • Support the IT organization's participation in the Firmwide Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process and helps to ensure that BIA findings appropriately inform BTR practices
  • Develop, update, accurately maintain and constantly improve records, reports and other documentation pertaining to tracking, analyzing, understanding and improving the resiliency of the Firm’s IT environment
  • Make recommendations for improving operational practices pertaining to maintaining readiness for Disaster Recovery

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience in application development processes, databases and data structures preferably having a professional background in Audit, IT Audit, Accounting or Mathematics
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to identify, understand, document and communicate functional interactions between the elements of IT in a complex and changing technology environment
  • Process-oriented and attention to detail and accuracy of data and records; Good knowledge of IT inventory and/or automation tools is desirable
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work
  • US Citizenship is required
