Job Description
The Sr Sales and Channel Development Manager ("Hunter"), is responsible for the implementation of the Echo global strategy for sales and channel development plan to increase market share and capillarity in the B2C and B2B channels, retail, carrier and carrier dealers, online and enterprise channels, (any channel other than the trading channel) in the region. Directly responsible for opening new accounts to exclusively sell our Echo products. He/She will initially be the primary point of contact between the customer and our organization. Also, will be responsible for sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, Salesforce reporting for the region and other sales support functions. This position reports directly to the Global VP of Sales and Channel Development with dotter line to the Sr. Director of Sales & Channels in the region.

Duties:
Deploy an Effective Channel Development Plan (CDP)
• Expand Growth Outside our Existing Customer Base
• Expand Growth Within Designated Target Channels
• Ensure Successful Implementation Across All B2B & B2C Sales Segments
Design & Implement A Sales / Marketing - "Results Improvement Strategy"
• Implement and customize our global B2C strategy for the region to ensure acquisition of new accounts.
• Customize and execute the global B2B strategy across the region to ensure acquisition of new accounts.
• Weekly Meetings With - Global and Regional Head of Sales.
• Deploy & Monitor a Sales Strategy That Will Ensure successful sales of our products
• Regular Feedback from Customers & Account Managers
• Product Management Is Aware Of, And Is Effectively Responding To, Product and Pricing Issues That Affects Brightstar's Ability to Meet Established Revenue and Margin Budgets.
• Complete sales forecasts and sales activity reports (Salesforce), and presentations in a timely manner for the B2B and B2C channels

Analyze the Sales Organization's Processes and Work Flow Designs
• Make Recommendations for Increasing Effectiveness in the recruitment of new accounts.
• Develop an Action Plan to Execute Approved Recommendations
• Effectively Execute Action Plan Within Established Time Lines

• Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively address the sales strategy

• Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Services, and Product) to develop effective sales strategies that promote sales to new customers.

• Work closely with Marketing to create, implement, and track successful marketing initiatives/campaigns towards the optimization of recruiting new accounts.

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor Degree / Equivalent Education & Work Experience

Experience:
A Minimum Of 5 Years:
• Five plus (5+) of sales experience, a Hunter, not a farmer. (different from account management).
• Knowledge of retail channel, telco a plus.
• Track record of successfully applying consultative selling and strategic business skills to achieve or exceed revenue, profit and customer satisfaction targets.
• Working knowledge and established relationships (data base), in the retail channels in the region. Dealer channels, a plus
