Job Summary

The Sr Accounting Coordinator will be an integral part of the Cash Application team.  The Coordinator will apply customer cash receipts for the Interior Systems business. This role will perform tasks in Excel and JD Edwards.   Strong communication skills are important in the regular interactions with the Credit and Collections team in determining the appropriate open customer invoices associated with the receipts.  The role will also interact with financial analysts from the domestic and international sites. .

Job Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, performs general accounting tasks in a variety of areas including general, cost, fixed asset, and payroll accounting, and Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and accuracy of account documents and takes corrective action when required.
  • Prepares moderately complex accounting and financial entries and reports and maintains subsidiary records.
  • Prepares preliminary financial / accounting reports for lower and mid-level management.

Basic Qualifications

 

-2 yr Accounting degree or relatable work experience in absence of a degree 

-Attention to detail

-Proficient in Microsoft Office

-Strong analytical skills
