The Registered Respiratory Therapist, according to physician orders and professional assessment of patient's condition, administers various types of respiratory treatments, pulmonary diagnostic adjustive therapy, and long-term ventilation in order to provide respiratory support to patients with breathing difficulties.  The Registered Respiratory Therapist operates ventilation for patient and oversees the patient transporters responsible for moving patients who require continuous mechanically ventilated care while moving to and from other diagnostic areas and the patient care unit.

 

The ideal Registered Respiratory Therapist candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Practitioners License, and one year experience.  The ideal candidate will have clinical experience and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

•  Graduate of an Accredited Program Required

•  Respiratory Care Practitioners License and RRT Certification Required

•  BCLS Certification Required

•  0-3 Months’ Experience Required
