Job Description
In this role the JDE Consultant role will be responsible for day to day support of multiple Enterprise One platforms, (JDE XE and Enterprise One V9) root cause analysis and solution/process design. This will include end to end process support, ownership and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing application (core and bespoke) configuration, support and system testing activities for the JDE OneWorld XE live and test platforms.
• Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) (where applicable) to analyse application incidents and problems and making recommendations for resolution.
• Ownership of the solution definition, process design and project delivery of JDE based application solutions.
• Definition of requirements including use of appropriate analysis and modelling techniques (where agreed)
• Production of Relevant Project Artefacts, System Test Plans and End-user Training materials (where applicable)
• Performing business user training (where agreed)
• Supporting Project Management function in the delivery of finished, high quality software development products.
• Governance of project development, validating solution design to ensure project and strategic functional and non-functional requirements are met.
• Work with project server.
• Communicating clearly and effectively with business users and technical resources.
• Assisting in the definition of Brightstar I.T service and product roadmaps aligned with Brightstar strategy and goals.
• Work within a multi-discipline team to deliver large projects governed by pre-scribed corporate software governance.
• Assist the I.T Director, Head of Delivery; ERP Manager and business unit representatives manage business development opportunities and supplier/customer relationships.
• Liaise with international IT Teams and business units to ensure a consistent standardised approach to I.T delivery across Brightstar.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Good communication skills and be able to adapt approach to best engage with given target audience from an end user to the Stakeholders within the company.

• Build and sustain effective relationships with peers and other roles in the Brightstar business units.
• Maintain an awareness of industry and technology trends and their potential application to Brightstar operations.
• Be a model of professionalism when engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Uphold and support the mission statement and business and technology strategies of Brightstar.
• Uphold and support the financial targets of the Brightstar
• Be fully EMEA mobile.
• Display deep and wide functional knowledge of bespoke JDE application implementations including (but not limited to) Stock Model, Finance MIS, LMS (Labour Management System) and Order Loaders.
• Strong database knowledge and SQL skills preferred.
• Comprehensive Enterprise One distribution knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge and awareness of all financial modules would be beneficial
• Proven technical knowledge of enterprise one platform to facilitate solution design and root cause analysis.
• Display wide functional knowledge of JDE OneWorld XE applications and associated business and system processes and execution to facilitate application support.
• Display deep and wide functional knowledge of at least two, and functional working knowledge of all of the following core areas utilised by Brightstar including (but not limited to) Financials, Distribution/Logistics, Manufacturing, Asset Management and Menus/Security.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and communications skills.
• Demonstrate basic commercial and legislative acumen.
• Minimum 2 years in similar role.
