KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our KPMG Strategy practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements and/or work streams and support business development activities within KPMG’s M&A Strategy practice
  • Serve as a key advisor to corporate and private equity clients, focusing on the delivery of operational strategic due diligence and performance improvement services
  • Work across B2B and B2C industries, including industrials, services, healthcare, consumer goods, retail, energy, technology and telecom, and financial services
  • Provide oversight of day to day project work and highly skilled client and KPMG work teams and help to ensure timely execution of project deliverables
  • Help support business development efforts working closely with leaders in the practice
  • Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years in an external consulting role providing advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, with specific experience providing operational due diligence and performance improvement services to clients
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university is strongly preferred
  • Ability to design, direct and quality-assure detailed analytical and quantitative studies, while also extracting the salient ‘big picture’ business implications.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, improve, and redesign business processes and functional organizations with a focus on implementation, including a deep understanding of financial analysis, business strategy, and supply chain optimization
  • Deep performance improvement skillset, with the ability to develop strategic insights from profitability and other related analyses, including an understanding of operational due diligence and post deal value creation
  • Ability to realize substantial bottom line benefits for clients and travel as necessary
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
