- Responsible for trouble shooting and performing various levels of mechanical services on soft-drink including cold drink equipment. This would encompass, but not limited to basic refrigeration, electrical and mechanical operations
- Maneuver equipment in order to perform all mechanical services on drink equipment including preventative maintenance
- Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition
- Ensure equipment is in accordance with manufacture and Company standards
- Maintain on-vehicle parts inventory and order new supplies as needed- manage inventory to Company standards
- Work with supervisor and planning teams to solve equipment issues
- Maintain clean and safe work area- adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain acceptable driving record and license
- Maintain positive customer relationships by servicing customers and by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred
- 1+ years of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred
- 1-3 Years of general technical experience required
- I-Fountain or Best certification preferred
- Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience preferred
- Demonstrate customer service, mechanical, technical, electrical aptitude
- Prior diagnostic trouble shooting
- Ability to use hand tools, safety glasses, gloves and other PPE as required
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card
- CMV required, if applicable
- Capable of independent thinking and decision making. Requires minimal supervision. Self-started, self
motivated and reliable. Innovative as needed to achieve desired results.
- Computer Skills necessary to successfully utilize required software application (e.g. Microsoft, Outlook, Service Power, etc.)
- Ability to maintain positive customer relationships
- Customer service experience preferred
- Listens effectively and develops relationships with customers
- Strong detail orientation, follow up and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible shifts/hours, as well as required overtime
- Must be able to function in various work environments
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas both orally and in writing
