We help companies to identify and manage risks inherent in business processes and technology systems that support business objectives, and provide them with the information needed to help them meet their strategic and financial goals. Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Director in Forensic - Compliance and Monitoring for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice to join us in our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mergers and Acquisition integrity due diligence
  • Facilitate Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) due diligence and program development
  • Anti-Money Laundering due diligence, remediation, and procedure development
  • Conduct fraud investigations background research of targets and related parties
  • Perform Asset identification

Qualifications:

  • Eight years of experience with intelligence and information gathering and analysis, preferably with an investigative or due diligence firm with global focus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Understanding of global public records databases and archives such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, Federal and local government agencies; in-depth knowledge of and experience with search methodologies including Boolean and search engine techniques
  • Experience analyzing findings to identify patterns of fraud and misconduct
  • Understanding of U.S. and global regulations: privacy laws, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and knowledge of document preservation, audit trail retention, risk management concerns, corporate filings, and financial statements
