Position Overview
Research Assistants provide support to the Research department in a variety of areas and tasks. These areas can include the following: scoring assessments for clinical and research use; mailing letters to our families for follow-up; coding of administrative data in a medical records database.
The Research Assistant needs to be able to juggle multiple, competing priorities. Flexibility and willingness to learn new systems and technology is a key component. Currently, a Research Assistant may be required to have familiarity with processes in up to 6 databases. Attention to detail is extremely important as all the tasks are detail oriented and the Research Department stakes a claim on providing accurate data.
**This is a Part Time Position**Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
Experience in database entry is strongly preferred
Candidates must be very detail orientated
Good telephone demeanor, be detail oriented, able to multitask, excellent time management skills, and have excellent verbal and critical thinking skills.
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required.
Experience using Evolv and knowledge of Youth Villages's programs is useful.
