The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) partners with the Account Executive (AE) to retain recurring revenue and create new opportunities with existing or new accounts. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sales process—primarily for transactional opportunities—while supporting contractual engagements, building strong relationships with key influencers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. Responsible for managing account relationships to drive sales and ensure pipeline management. 
 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Achieve sales targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. 

  • Build and manage relationships with customers to drive business growth. 

  • Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed strategic decisions. 

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop strategies for new and existing accounts. 

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams using remote sales tools. 

  • Support customers in adopting new products and solutions. 

  • Identify opportunities to expand business within accounts and work with AEs/partners to plan account growth.  

  • Independently manage smaller transactional deals from qualification to close, focusing on expanding the product portfolio to customers. 

  • Assist with product selection, demonstrations, responding to requests for proposals, and updating sales catalogs. 

  • Oversee the sales cycle, including project management, pricing, solution development, closing sales, and technical demonstrations. 

 

Education & Experience Recommended: 

  • Bachelors degree is preferred but not required. 

  • Experience in sales and account management. 

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing sales pipelines.  

  • Strong organizational and program management skills. 

  • Experience in direct sales and working with various stakeholders.  

  • Ability to support account teams and drive sales for transactional deals. 

 

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Proficiency in managing end-to-end sales processes. 

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. 

  • Expertise in contractual/services selling and driving recurring revenue. 

  • Ability to identify opportunities and align with strategic plans. 

  • Proficiency in digital and remote selling. 

  • Experience with cross-selling and up-selling techniques to drive profitability and enhance customer experience 

  • Self-motivation and proactive approach to prospecting and business development 

  • New Technology and AI: demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions. 

Compensation and Benefits

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $56,050 to $76,250 CAD annually paid as a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity.
As a full time, employee of HP Canada, you will be eligible to participate in the company's group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and disability coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term, you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date. Detailed information regarding benefits—will be provided upon hire and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.Work location being Mississauga, ON and working hours could vary to ensure excellent customer and partner support for all time zones in Canada.
